Wiyaala Set To Perform For Queen Of England On Her Birthday

The giant, slender and as well as energetic Ghanaian
songstress Noella Wiyaala, known by her stage name, Wiyaala, keeps getting
higher in her music career at the setting of the sun every new day.
The most recent in her fast career growth, Noella is possibly
set to perform for the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth, on her birthday, a
twitter update on the official page of the British High Commission in Ghana

The Queen celebrates two birthdays each year; her actual
birthday on April 21 and her official birthday on a Saturday in June. Noella
Wiyaala has been confirmed to perform for the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth
II as she celebrates her 89th birthday on April 21 2015 in the UK

The past few months have been a great one for the singer who
together with her band signed an ambassadorial deal with Converse Shoes. Her
theme song for the senior national team of the Blackstars during the 2014 World
Cup hosted in Brazil was ranked among the best songs globally composed for the
occasion. According to a  spokesperson for Shoebox, representatives of the
brand in Ghana said, Noella and her band were chosen because they represented
the younger generation amazingly well. “We chose Wiyaala and The Djimba World
Band because they represent the younger generation of Ghanaians who are out
there doing it for real.” Noella recently put up a splendid performance at the
GN Bank Awards which was held on the 21st of March 2015.
Noella after coming out as one of the winners of Vodafone
Icon talent hunt show has seen glory in her musical journey.

Popularly known for songs like “Rock my Body”, “Make me
dance” and “You got the power”, Noella’s name has remained on the lips of many
who have had the opportunity to see her perform live on stage, captivating her
audience with her strong voice and energetic dance moves.

Even though her songs may not be mainstream hit songs, she
has been praised for the excellent voice, videos, art and energy she puts
behind her performances; winning her several accolades.
