R14-million WSU student Commits Suicide

Sibongile Mani Commits Suicide

Walter Sisulu University student and Pasma leader Sibongile Mani who out of the blue received R14million from National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS)  died this evening. The girl was said to spent a small portion of the money after receiving it and when NSFAS realized it sent a lot more than she was supposed to receive, she was contacted.

Asked to tell her side of the story, Mani said: “I am not ready.”. The girl then admitted that the money shocked her but she just thought that maybe it was an NSFAS increase.

“It’s difficult, very difficult but I will get through [it],” said Mani, who had allegedly spent more than R800,000 after an administrative error saw her receive R14-million for food and book allowances. Just after leaving this note, Sibongile Mani committed suicide

She went straight to the bank and reversed the amount left back to NSFAS. That did not sit well with her angry grandmother who then decided to end her life using black magi
